Made with juicy Cosmic Crisp apples, zesty lemons, and a touch of honey, this sorbet is a delightful blend of sweet and tangy flavours. The recipe is simple and easy to follow, ensuring a smooth, sorbet-like consistency that will impress your taste buds.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Cosmic Crisp apple, peeled, cored, and cut into cubes
- 1 large (or two small) lemons, juiced
- Zest from 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 cup water
METHOD
1 Combine all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
2 Pour the mixture into the container of an ice cream maker and freeze for 24 hours.
3 Place the container into the ice cream maker and select the sorbet setting. After the cycle ends, check the consistency. If it is still crumbly/icy, hit the re-spin setting and spin again. The consistency should be smooth like sorbet.
4 Scoop and serve with desired toppings or make it boozy and top with a little prosecco!
